Vickye continued her career in finance after moving from Virginia to Mooresville in 2002. Upon retiring, she began working as our administrative assistant and has since become an integral part of the day-to-day operations at Centenary. Choir Director/Organist
Laura began directing the adult choir in 2006 and the adult handbell choir in 2007. As the director of the adult choir and handbell choir, she’s focused on keeping a variety of music styles from traditional music to upbeat anthem selections which bring energy and joy to our worship services. Her love for playing the piano and researching organ music to enhance the worship service shows just how deeply dedicated she is. When she’s not at the piano, she loves playing golf on occasion, going to movies, watching sports and enjoys outings with her family.

J-Kids Leader
Robin's journey with Centenary Methodist Church began over 35 years ago when she sought a nurturing environment for her boys, similar to the one she experienced growing up. Her involvement deepened as she participated in children's ministries, believing in their vital role in the church's future. She later served as a youth leader for 5 to 6 years and currently works with children from ages 3 to 5th grade, assisting with programs like J-Kids and VBS. In her rare spare time, Robin enjoys crafting and cherishes moments spent with family and friends.
J-Walker Leader
Tara has been a member at Centenary Methodist Church since 2009 and has had the privilege of being a youth group leader for both the elementary and now middle/senior high groups since 2015. She is passionate and committed to providing a fun and inclusive environment where our teens can grow the foundations of their faith into young adulthood through fellowship, leadership, and service opportunities alongside their peers. Although she loves working with children of all ages, she finds the teenage years can be a little more difficult to navigate in today’s world, but the absolute joy of being able to witness their spiritual growth, confidence, and commitment to faith is beyond rewarding and an honor to be a part of.
Lay Delegate
Lillian’s journey at Centenary started a year ago. Since then, she has assisted with children sermon, children’s church, VBS and teaching the older youth Sunday School class. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
