Centenary
We have a strong children and youth ministry with various ways they can connect, engage and grow in their faith of Jesus Christ. Children’s church is available during the 11:00am worship service with Sunday evenings being for faith, fun and fellowship for our J-Kids and J-Walkers!
Children ages 4yrs – 2nd grade can participate in Children’s church during the 11:00 service. Directly after the children’s message the children may exit the service with a leader and go upstairs for an age appropriate engaging time. Children will be returned to the front of the sanctuary at the end of the service.
J-Kids is our ministry for 4 years to 5th grade. The group meets every other Sunday at 4pm during the school year for fun, and fellowship to nurture each child’s faith. Special activities are also planned throughout the year for our children to participate in such as Fall Festival, Christmas Play, Easter Egg Hunt and various Mission/Service Activities.
J-Walkers is our ministry for youth 6th through 12th grade. The group meets every Sunday at 5pm during the school year. The group enjoys developing their faith while having fun. This group of young people engage in special activities such as Christmas Play, bowling, lock-ins, spring retreat at Camp Tekoa along with mission/service projects throughout the year.

The Global Methodist Church celebrates and praises God for the gifts women bring to all levels of the Church. Centenary Methodist Women support the church's mission and vision by offering support to assess and address the diverse needs of women across all ages and stages within the church. Methodist Women's ministry stands as a cornerstone to help the church meet the GMCs mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ where scripture and Christian tradition bear witness to the importance of women serving the Church. Currently meeting Bi-monthly on the 2nd Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Church parlor.
We are a ministry that works together to create crocheted items to be given to those in need exemplifying a commitment to community care and compassion. By creating items such as prayer shawls, lap throws, toboggans, scarves, chemo hats, baby hats, baby blankets, ear warmers, and toys, we not only provide warmth and comfort but also convey God's love to recipients. Partnering with organizations like Rowan Helping Ministries, local nursing homes, hospices, battered women's shelters, teen crisis centers, chemo departments, and the Dove House ensures that our items reach those who need them most. The process of blessing these items within your church before distributing them, accompanied by prayers and contact information, adds a personal and spiritual touch that undoubtedly uplifts recipients. Our ministry is open to welcoming new members who wish to contribute to this meaningful work. For more information on how to get involved, interested individuals can contact the church directly.
The Joy Club (Just Older Youth) is an engaging group of church members of any age – the only requirement is being young at heart! The Joy Club meets the 3rd Thursday of the month for lunch and fellowship and they take several day trips throughout the year. We would love to have you join us!
